After all that time I was still working 70 hour weeks making £8,000 per month.
Then one day, when I was checking out of the Hilton Hotel in Jacksonville, Florida, at a GKIC Super Conference, and my card was rejected, I realized the painful truth . . .
I had been making the exact same mistakes . . . year after year.
Even though I knew everything about being a landscaper . . . I knew almost nothing about being a business owner.
That’s why my business was still in the same spot even after almost 2 decades in the same industry.
So, I hired a business coach and learned three valuable lessons which changed the course of my life.
1. Business is a series of systems and systems run businesses NOT people
2. If things were going to change for me I was going to have to change first
3. You can do anything one step at a time, but you can’t do everything at the same time
Within 3 years I grew my business from £8,000 per month to £300,000 per month, and reduced my hours to 7 per week.
Since then I have built 5 different businesses with over 75 employees and contractors, that work without me being around to run them.
That brings me to today, and my work helping business owner – just like you – simplify their businesses and make more money, doing less hours.
From those days when I was making £8,000 per month with my business and working 70 hour weeks, I’m now make over £1m annually and travelling the world with my family.

Is a very easy, quick read, simple brilliant book for someone that is starting landscaping company and if you have been in the industry for a long time you will learn some new lessons that author learned in a hard way. I refer to it quite often as is very practical.
